Course designed to showcase the energy savings available in a facility through the proper use, care, and application of insulation technologies. The program is based upon the nationally accepted 3E Plus program for use in surveying and quantifying the energy losses in an insulation system. The software program is available on the internet in a download from the DOE website. The class is designed for all facility personnel charged with reducing operating costs of a facility.

Attendees are guided in the principals of proper insulation systems and the effective use of insulation to save energy and reduce operating costs. Students learn survey techniques to present the savings and gain the ability to use the 3D Plus software.
